Flowers are a traditional part of most funerals, but do not feel that they are an absolute necessity.
If you do wish to have some flowers present at the funeral of your loved one we can assist you with this as much or as little as you wish. They can also discuss with you options for how we would instruct anyone else who wishes to attend the funeral. These instructions will be included in your listing on our current funerals page and we would also advise anyone who enquired with us. For example whether there is to be a donation fund with only flowers from the family, or whether you would perhaps prefer to give people the option of bringing flowers.
If you wish to organise flowers yourself we will also be able to recommend several local florists who will give you the highest level of care.
If you wish to give people the opportunity to make a charitable donation in memory of your loved one we would place an offertory box at the funeral and accept donations for around six weeks following. These payments can be made to us via cash, cheque, or online using our donations service in our current funerals area and click on the relevant funeral.
Cheques should be made payable to Humphris Funerals Donation Fund. Send to: 32 Albert Street, Banbury, Oxfordshire. OX16 5DG
Around six weeks following the funeral we will contact you to advise you of the amount raised and seek your permission to forward the fund to your chosen charity. Alternatively you may wish to do this yourself in person, in which case we will provide you with any information you require.
