A Time to Remember

Our annual service of remembrance will be held in our chapel on Armistice Day, November 11th, beginning at 10:45am. Please feel free to join us to pay tribute to those who so bravely gave their lives to preserve the freedoms that we hold so dear.

Funeral Directors and Clergy: the importance of a good rapport

The doorway newspaper article

Recently Martin Humphris was contacted by a Reporter from the Doorway Newspaper which is the Anglican newspaper for the Diocese of Oxford about the relationship and rapport between Funeral Directors and the Clergy.

Martin was grateful and pleased to be able to give his thoughts, ideas and opinions on this very important subject.

Graham John Soden

Graham Soden smudged front

On Sunday 11th October 2015 Graham Soden, a valued colleague of Humphris Funerals, sadly passed away after an illness which he bore with tremendous bravery.

Graham was a long-standing member of our bearing team and a great character. His humour, enthusiasm and unsurpassed knowledge of the natural world will be sorely missed by us all. Our thoughts are with his family, especially Tanya, his wife of 25 years, his children and grandchildren.
