Many thanks to everyone who attended our annual carol service which took place at Marlborough Road Methodist Church on Thursday evening. It was overwhelming that so many people attended and helped make it such a special event.
This was our fifth annual carol service and we always strive to create a space for those who have suffered bereavement to join together in remembrance at what can be such a challenging time of year.
Our thanks go to Reverend Jean Fletcher who officiated beautifully; ably assisted by her husband the Reverend Stephen Fletcher and accompanied by David Upton on the organ. Also to Allen Bishop and all at Marlborough Road Church for graciously allowing us use of their building.
There was a collection on the night for Katharine House Hospice who do so such vital work caring for those in the latter stages of their lives and supporting those who are bereaved.
